Waterski Slalom Package

As the discipline continues to grow more, it’s little wonder more athletes are posting PB’s atop the KD 12k trick ski. With it’s famous rolled tip/tail corner bevels and recently updated Nexus base it provides the clean and predictable take offs that a required to be able to lay down consistent runs.
Here KD have refined the carbon/fiberglass blend to maximise the skis natural flex zones to giver greater pop for flips and ski lines.

We have incorporated rear plate inserts to easily allow the ski to be mounted and to suit left or right foot forward skiers. We have specifically designed rear toe plate to match our rear insert pattern. Be sure to order the rear plate with the ski. (ski is not designed to be drilled into)

Built using the proven 12k profile with a couple of tweaks to help world champion Pato Font keep setting and breaking his own records.

The PVC core is machined to ensure precision fitment, minimising the chance of air pockets. Performance has been further enhanced by tweaking the flex zones to give the ski more pop for flips/ski lines, allowing riders to push harder and further without fear of edge bites.

KD Fusion Slalom Ski

Seated on the top step, the Krypton Fusion has put the rest of the industry on notice! KD have proven its possible to make a tournament-oriented ski with all the trimmings without breaking the bank!

Incorporating a machined PVC aerocore that delivers instant transitions for skiers seeking results at 28-32mph, The Krypton 2.0 mold utilises the Titanium shape, only adding two tenths of an inch from the forebody through to the tail.

Wrapped in the perfect blend of spread tow carbon and glass fibres the Krypton Fusion delivers the most responsive ski for the skier looking for performance both in and out of the slalom course. Improving on the first iteration, the gen II Krypton features an elongated the flat spot under the bindings and its unique tip riser has been moved forward, minimising chatter providing a balanced ride regardless of technique.

Flex Binding

The Flex is the go to binding in the range, built to promote tighter radius turns.

Constructed on a light weight composite baseplate, the Flex binding removes the dead spot left by traditional ski bindings and instead allows the ski to naturally arc as intended for more intuitive feel rolling into turns. 

The dual lace design makes for ease of entry and tighten down evenly around the whole foot with the floating tongue removing any unwanted pressure spots while the deep heel pocket support the ankle and eliminate unwanted lift that people often experience in an open toed binding.

Specific elastic zones are built into the side and heel off the new Flex binding, giving skiers the freedom to ski as aggressive or relaxed as they desire.

KD Krypton Carbon Slalom Ski

The Krypton Carbon is the middle of the range model that features the best of all three Krpton skis rolled into a price point package that’s nearly impossible to beat! 

With its distinctive RCD top deck allowing a full Carbon and graphite top sheet, the Krypton Carbon delivers all the torsional rigidly and explosiveness of the Fusion, with specific fiberglass zones that allow skiers of all abilities to experience tighter radius turns and huge cross course speeds without the need for a perfect technique.

The Krypton Carbon uses a softer polyurethane foam core featured in the base model, its foam cells are denser, allowing the ski to ride deeper and require less effort to tighten up the skis natural turn radius. The blend of these two features makes the Carbon the most popular of the entire Krypton line-up.

KD have created a new mold for the Krypton models. Utilising the design features of their New Titanium. They have built a ski for the 30 to 34mph skiers, by adding a little width through the forebody to the tail. The Carbon version incorporates the PVC machined core and carbon composite lay up. The New Krypton is built to perform in and out of the slalom course.

Cobalt Ski

The Cobalt is made for the youngsters. 

KD have designed the ski off the stable mate the Redline with a fresh new mold.  It has a softer flex pattern and rounder bevels to accommodate the lighter weight skier.

The ski is a little narrower and incorporates a rounded tail, this allows it to sit deeper in the water and a more predictable turn and edge change.

They changed the deck profile and added some carbon to the forebody to help generate speed and performance.

Radar Senate Alloy

The best-selling Radar ski. Radar pairs a polyurethane core with Paulownia wood stringers, wrap it carbon and push play. The result is incredible speed to the wakes, but with a softer more predictable ride through the turn. From the back waters to the buoys, glassy mornings to afternoon chop, the Senate Alloy is the perfect choice for any skier in the boat.

Where Radar adds surface area to the Senate series is the backbone to bridging ease of use, with flat-out performance. As opposed to simply scaling a Vapor wider we start with its active wet surface (the tunnel and edge bevels) and leave them relatively intact. From there they build surface area by adding a one tenth of an inch rail between the outer edge of the concave and the bevel. This small rail creates lift and support at slower speeds without sacrificing the ski’s roll, grip and drive through the wakes. This allows you to slow the boat, without slowing your ability to attack the water.
