The C.A.S. Shell has an anatomical shape that matches the shape of the foot. This allows for a better out-of-the box initial fit. The dimples on the shell offer less surface tension and facilitate heating, making customizing the shell easier. The shell retains the new shape better and longer.

GRIP WALK

WHAT IS  GRIPWALK?
GripWalk is a sole-binding interface system aimed to give excellent grip while walking on icy or snowy paths. The convex shape of the GW sole delivers superior walking comfort and grip on slippery surfaces.
Gripwalk soles are composed of a heel pad and a toe pad, that can be mounted and replaced separately.
When a GripWalk sole is mounted on a boot, the binding must be accordingly GripWalk compatible. Those can be identified by the original GripWalk logo on it. Conventional alpine bindings without the logo are not compatible with GripWalk soles.

The product cycle for the proven Cochise starts anew with a complete re-design of the Tecnica Cochise 130 DYN Alpine Touring Ski Boots, and it was worth the wait. Lighter and more anatomic without giving up the power the Cochise 130 was known for, the new boot uses a freshly developed walk mode mechanism dubbed the T-Ride Hiking System. With better range of motion and a new locking switch for the downhill mode, T-Ride is a win-win move. The 130 DYN combination of Gripwalk sole blocks and Dynafit-certified tech fittings means you can go between Gripwalk-compatible alpine bindings and tech bindings seamlessly - a huge plus in our book.

High Performance Full C.A.S. Liner – C.A.S. liners are anatomically shaped for optimal comfort and great heel hold. The dual density micro-cell material is durable, easy to customize, and has a low pack-out rate maintaining a great fit over a longer period of time. For unmatched personal customization the C.A.S. liner can be thermo-molded, punched, and ground.

Celliant® Insulation – Celliant is powered by 13 thermoreactive minerals that convert body heat into infrared energy. Infrared penetrates deep into the tissue to increase circulation, oxygen and blood flow. This results in improved performance, thermal regulation and faster recovery.

The Tecnica Mach 1 130 LV is a perfect boot for expert skiers that have a narrow foot, narrow leg shape, and a tall instep.

Tecnica's C.A.S (Custom Adaptive Shape) shell and liner are designed to be tweaked by a skilled bootfitter to give you the ultimate in performance and comfort. The C.A.S. Liner utilizes cork that surrounds the foot that can be heated, punched or grinded down for small fit issues. The C.A.S. Shell has small dimples in strategic places that give you an accurate atomically correct shape, and those dimples give a bootfitter the chance to heat the boot faster, and the shell can hold shape after it has been pressed for a better performance.

The i-Rebound Construction has four metal to metal connection points that give you a powerful forward flex, rearward support, and a high amount of rebound with every turn.
