Holmenkol DIAMOND FILE WC
Regular price $79.00 Save Liquid error (product-template line 117): Computation results in '-Infinity'%A diamond file gives World Cup quality results, polishing blemishes in edges from your tuning file for as smooth, strong and sharp a tune as possible.
These files are also fantastic for removing the dreaded "hanging burr" to prolong ski and snowboard edge life.
Although Holmenkol say to use this with an edge file guide, we would recommend caution, and for us, we use the file by hand as we are looking to polish, not reset the edge! Also, always use a little water (or snow) when using the file for a better and quicker polish.
For best results, buy all the options and work your way from coarse to fine for a race quality finish.
Make sure to carry your file with you on the mountain too, for quick touch ups that you will especially appreciate in icy conditions.

Holmenkol ULTRAMIX BLUE 150g
Regular price $32.00 Save Liquid error (product-template line 117): Computation results in '-Infinity'%Ultra Mix Blue by Holmenkol is a high quality coldest conditions ski and snowboard wax for when the temperature really drops on the mountain.
When the snow temperature tumbles below -8°C and towards -20°C this wax will perform.
Recommended iron temperature: 135-145°C
Snow temperature range: -8 to -20°C
Snow types: all snow types - especially effective on cold corn snow and old coarse snow
A much harder wax compound, it resists coarse snow crystals and hard abrasive snow that colder conditions bring, and retains its structure for longer as a result.
For best results use a brass/bronze brush alongside a nylon wax brush to really open the structure up and help improve glide performance.
With this wax set your iron to 140°C and ONLY use a ski waxing iron at this temperature as this is right on the limit of the maximum temperature you can use on bases without risk of delamination.
